Each fall our Saturday breakfast joint adds "pumpkin" to its list of muffin choices.
About a week and a half ago, our waitress announced (via Facebook) that pumpkin muffin season had finally arrived! I was SO excited that I made it my Facebook status, and I wrote to her that my muffin choice will be PUMPKIN until further notice. (She knew it would be!)
So, imagine my horror when I arrived last Saturday only to learn that the pumpkin muffins had gone fast that day. I then found out, however, that my INCREDIBLE waitress had set one aside......for ME!
I love her.
Today there seemed to be plenty of pumpkin muffins to go around. But I will always remember the one that was saved just for me. (Smile.....)
