Work! Google! Empathy!

I got home late from work the past couple nights.  I was doing pretty well energy-wise until about an hour ago.

Just now I was sitting at my computer, resting my chin in my left hand.  Eyes shut.

I'm pulling it together long enough to ask for sympathy (or is it empathy?) from all those who have ever been tired after working a long day.

Just a second while I google sympathy vs. empathy...........

OK.  It turns out that I'm asking for empathy.

But if you've never been tired after working a long day, then you don't know how it feels.  Therefore, you can only offer your sympathy.

And that's my grammar lesson for today.
