It was just before 11:30 this morning when I yelled to Lew, "We're missing the parade!"
He turned on the TV and flipped through the channels until he found the parade on HGTV. We usually watch it on that channel because they show it commercial-free.
I then grabbed the remote from Lew and pressed the button that would show whether I could "Restart" the program or not.
I could!
So I did.
Despite tuning in almost a half hour late, we didn't miss any of the parade coverage.
Gotta love modern technology!
(Postscript: Back to work tomorrow for Lew and back to my novel-writing for me. We've enjoyed the holidays, but it will be nice to get back into a routine.)
