Since having my surgery, I got out of the habit of excercising in the morning. For the first couple weeks, I couldn't really do it anyway. But then I never resumed my routine.
The surgery on my left leg is scheduled for Friday, March 26th. So I have 10 mornings between now and then to try and get some exercise before I'm hobbling around again.
I'm writing this on my blog, hoping that it will motivate me. I plan to report on my success in tomorrow night's post.
I will start my day with some healthy self-talk. I have found that the following is quite effective: "Get up, you lazy bum!"
