Lew and I go grocery shopping just about every Saturday morning after breakfast.
When we buy eggs, I try to pay attention to which bag they are in.
For some reason, I did not notice this morning. After all of the grocery bags were in the back of our vehicle, I asked Lew about the eggs.
He did not know where they were. Nor did he seem to be concerned.
I then found it necessary to remind him about the fragile nature of eggs. During this discussion, Lew assured me that he had never broken an egg due to a bagging mishap.
When we got home, I found the eggs. The carton was on its side in the bag!
But, miraculously, the eggs were all intact.
A speggtacular ending!
