The 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off

Lew and I attended our church's 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off today.

This event is a fundraiser for mission trips. A couple times a year, a group of people from our church go to Guatemala to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to help with Vacation Bible Schools, to build homes, and to do all sorts of other good stuff.

Now back to the chili....

There were 14 entries.

I sampled each one.

I am now recalling that old Alka Seltzer commercial: "I can't believe I ate the whole thing...."
