The ladies' retreat was a wonderful experience.
The weekend's study on David was insightful, challenging, thought-provoking, etc.
At the end of the retreat, we were all asked to write down a commitment we made as a result of the weekend. Here's mine:
I will not obey my fear; I will obey my God.
I had a blast rooming with Holly. (She now knows way too much about me!)
I ate too much.
I laughed too loud.
I am pretty exhausted....
And I am already looking forward to next year's retreat!
(Postscript: But I did miss my Sweetie.)
