The 2011 Scarborough Little League Champions:
THE ROYALS! Final score was 4-2.
Josh pitched the entire game. He hit a 3-run home run -- right before Lew and I got there, of course. But since Josh's team scored all of their runs before we got to the game, and the opposing team scored all of their runs after we got there, we figured that our arrival time was a significant factor in the outcome -- so we were glad to be of help.
Josh got his home run ball, and he was also awarded the game ball.
Congratulations, Josh! Two years in a row on the championship team. :)
It was also a great day for Scarborough High School athletics. The boys lacrosse team, girls lacrosse team, and softball team all won their respective State Championship games! Woo hoo!
