I worked several years at a tax accounting firm. Our busy time of year began in January and ended on April 15th. In the industry, this busy time of year is called "tax season."
I no longer work as a tax accountant (doin' the happy dance!), but I prepare four tax returns each year. One of those is obviously our own. The other three are those of family members. (And "no" -- I am not taking on any more!)
I started working on our taxes right after breakfast this morning. After I finished, I went on to the next one... and then the next one... and then the next one. I was a tax preparin' animal!
So I had a "tax season" this year after all. And instead of three months, it only lasted one day! :)
