Lew and I went on a date after church yesterday. We went to "the theater."
The Scarborough Middle School performed a junior version of the musical Beauty and the Beast. The Disney movie is one of my all-time favorites, so I was really interested in seeing this particular show. And a major plus was that a couple of the kids from our church were in it!
It was not quite an hour and a half long, and there was no intermission. So, it was just like going to a movie -- but without the popcorn, as Lew pointed out.
We both really enjoyed the production. It's a wonderful story, and the kids did a great job with it.
I feel very "cultured" today!
