The hype about the winter storm expected for today actually turned out to be true. I awoke to hearing school cancellations on my radio.
It looks like there is still a light snowfall at the moment, but for the most part the storm is over.
So, after my busy week, it sure turned out to be a good day to stay home and lie low.
I am posting a bit earlier than normal. I am anxiously awaiting the time of 4:05 p.m. That is when the Red Sox play their first official game of the 2011 season.
The Red Sox website has a countdown to game time. I'm waiting....
I can hardly stand it.

(Postscript: The baseball game is in Arlington, Texas. Hopefully it's not snowing there!)
