Last Thursday night I recorded Peter Pan Live! on my DVR. It was a three-hour broadcast (with commercials), so I'm glad that I went the "watch later" route.
Did I enjoy the show? I liked it enough to watch the entire thing, although I didn't watch it all in one sitting. This particular musical has never been one of my favorites, but I thought the live broadcast of it was pretty good.
I was impressed with the technical aspect of the production (e.g., flying!) and I liked most of the vocals. My favorite parts of the show were the big dance numbers. I also liked the dog. :)
I read that NBC plans to do another live broadcast of a musical next year: The Music Man. I'm looking forward to that one already!
