A friend of mine from church shared a sweet story with me yesterday via text message.
She told me that her son "was outside this afternoon. He came in and said that he was talking to God while he was playing. He said he was praying for baby Eli... that he would follow God."
Her son had been at Eli's dedication on Sunday.
My friend went on to tell me that "The baby dedication is still on his mind, I think. He has a tender heart to spiritual things. I hope God calls him in a special way."
And I responded, "It sounds like He already has."
How precious are the prayers of a child!
