Today was a much-anticipated special day: Eli's dedication!
Matt and Emily dedicated baby Eli to our Lord God.
The ceremony was during our morning church service, so many members of our church family were there. Eli's parents had also invited family and friends.
During the ceremony, the pastor asked Emily to say Eli's full name. When she said his name into the microphone, apparently Eli gave her a big smile. (I didn't see it because he was facing away from me.)
Eli was quite the little man, all dressed up in a snazzy new outfit and shoes!
After the service, we had a reception upstairs.
Eli was such a good boy the whole time. He was getting a little fussy toward the end of the reception, but it had been a long event for him.
Yes, it was a very special day.
