My office-mate and I decided a couple weeks ago to swap workstations; this was with the blessing of the "powers that be."
We were going to wait until the new carpet was put in the hallway and our office before we switched, but we ended up making the move this afternoon.
I thought it would only take an hour or so — but you know how that goes. Fortunately we started a couple hours before the workday ended.
Oh — and did I mention that our office is being painted this weekend? So we had to leave things in a good situation for the painter.
My office-mate is pretty settled into her new space, while my whole work area is in a state of upheaval.
Monday morning is going to be a blast.
