When we arrived at the house, guess whose vehicle was parked in front?
Answer: Grampa Lew's!
He couldn't bear the thought that we were visiting without him, so he left work for a bit so he could be there, too.
Grampa was holding Eli when we went into the house... but not for long. Debbie grabbed the baby right out of Lew's arms. And she lived to tell about it! Ha ha!
It was especially nice to see Emily with her baby in her own home. Motherhood suits her. :)
A one-day-late "Happy Birthday" to Matt. Here's a picture of Eli celebrating:
