Lew had the day off from work today due to the Veterans' Day holiday. Thank you, Lew's employer!
We went out to breakfast with our breakfast buddies. Dick said he was treating us to breakfast because Lew is a veteran. (I argued with Dick that he shouldn't pay for me, as I'm not a veteran. But he didn't listen to me.) Thank you for breakfast, Dick and Carole!
For dinner we met Lew's buddy Steve at Applebee's. Because they are both veterans, Steve and Lew got their entrees for free. Thank you, Applebee's!
But most of all, a THANK YOU to all of our country's veterans - today and every day.
