When Lew takes a vacation week, I normally tell him at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, "Your vacation is over!"
Even though the weekend is still part of his continuous time off, I like to tease him a little bit. (Regular readers of Mainely Tracy know that I usually don't make jokes at my husband's expense.... LOL!)
But this vacation week is different because it contained the July 4th holiday. That means that Lew gets to take this coming Monday as a vacation day, too.
I'm not sure that "Your vacation is over!" at 5:00 p.m. on Monday will have quite the same punch to it. But that won't keep a girl from trying.... :)
