Sometimes nice things just happen.
I came home from getting a flu shot yesterday and my phone rang. Daughter-in-law Emily asked if I would like to go to lunch with her and my two grandsons and then go walking on the Eastern Trail.
I had plans to work on some projects around the house, but all-of-a-sudden they didn’t seem very important.
I took turns giving the boys shoulder rides and realized that I can barely lift Eli over my head. Growing up quick.
It was a beautiful day and a lovely time.
