Derf Here! Enjoying some great fall days. The mornings are quite cool but the temperature really warms up for beautiful afternoons. Hoping for a coastal frost soon. Then I'll mow the lawn one last time and store summer equipment in the trailer for winter. Please, frost – come soon!
Josh's football team had a weekend off and Zack's team improved to 4-2 with a win. Josh has five games left and Zack has two regular-season games prior to the playoffs.
Glen, while taking Josh and four other students back to Maine Maritime on Monday, lost his vehicle's grill to a pheasant. The bird lost its life.
We are happy Tom Brady is back. We're a little sad the Red Sox were swept by Cleveland in the playoffs. The Sox left their bats in the clubhouse. Their top pitchers performed below expectation. Go, Cubs!
