This afternoon I joined 13 other gals from church at an area business called Glazey Days.
We spent two enjoyable hours together while we each painted a ceramic bisque piece.
I selected a bowl with handles. Emily chose a flower pot. Laura painted a large bowl, and her mother painted salt and pepper shakers to match it. Other pieces painted included a piggy bank, a star-shaped bowl, house numbers, plates, mugs, and more bowls.
Next up for my bowl: glazing and firing. (The Glazey Days staff does that.)
The finished product should be ready in about a week.
If I like how it looks, I will post a picture of my bowl.
