We had 30 people come to the church Super Bowl party at our house! (If you count Lew and me, then 32.)
Everyone brought food. Plates and dishes of food covered our dining room table. Crock pots lined our kitchen counter. Nobody left hungry -- and if they did, it was their own fault!
We had a "Rock Paper Scissors" tournament at halftime. Participation was voluntary, and the spectators did their part in cheering the contestants on. It was a riot! Our pastor's younger daughter was the champion. Her opponents never figured out her strategy of always being "Rock".... (Smile!)
This morning I went around the house, putting things back into their proper places. I found only five items that people had forgotten -- and three of those were left behind by Matt, Emily, and Eli.
Things are pretty much back to normal in the house. Now to get my sleep schedule back to normal!
