Actual conversation:
Me: "What should I write about?"
Lew: "You want an idea for your blog?"
Me: "Yes."
Lew: "Hmmmm... Let's see...." (Long pause.) "You could talk about kitty maintenance.... Let's see.... What else?.... We lead such exciting lives.... (Another long pause.) "We should have taken a picture down at the beach; then you could have put that on there."
I wait for Lew to continue talking. Finally he does: "I'm thinking, but I've got nothing."
Nothing? I know all about that!
(Postscript: Kitty maintenance = we trimmed cats' claws tonight. Beach = we had a lovely early-evening walk!)
