Lew and I always enjoy watching the Home Run Derby... without the commercials, of course.
ESPN has it scheduled from 8 PM to 10 PM (Eastern time).
Two hours? Seriously??
From past experience, I know this event will last more than two hours. It is televised LIVE and always goes longer than the time slot.
When I programmed my DVR to record it, I opted to stop recording two hours later than the scheduled end time.
Here's hoping the Home Run Derby does not last over four hours!
(Postscript: When I'm recording a sporting event, I always choose the maximum additional time. With our DVR service, that is two hours.)
