Pastor Dave, Laura, their two daughters, and Dave's parents came over for a night out on the town with us. In our case, "out on the town" means going to get ice cream for dinner! We went to Fielder's Choice in Old Orchard Beach.
I got the Slider, which is a banana-split-type dessert. It is quite large. I ate the whole thing.
As we finished up our ice cream, it started to rain. We skedaddled from the picnic table to our vehicles (gals in one car, guys in the other).
We came back to our house for a little more chatting time. The girls played with Jerry — they love him, and he loves them.
We are planning at least one more outing together this summer. You just can't beat ice cream for dinner!
