After seven wins in a row, the Red Sox lost last night.
I stayed up until the very end of the game in order to fulfill my duty.
But now that they've lost, I don't have to stay up late for any more games (unless I want to, of course).
If they go on another winning streak, I will be pleased.
But I will not take on the burden of keeping their streak alive next time.
It is too stressful, not to mention tiring.
Plus, the players get paid to win baseball games and I don't!
