Still bleary-eyed from my late-night babysitting gig on Tuesday night. Had a wonderful time with my little friend!

Yesterday was Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. I have three things that I am refraining from this year: two food items and one behavior.

Lew and I went to church last night. It was the first time either one of us ever received ashes on our foreheads!

Tonight is American Idol night for us. As I write this, we are watching last night's show. Then we will watch tonight's results show -- which hasn't aired yet but will soon. (How's that for instant gratification?)

I watched 42 today. Great movie.
