Dad 521: Window Visits

(Happy July, everyone! Enjoy Dad's post! ~ Tracy)

Derf Here! Turned into a very nice day today after a few rainy, showery days. We did need the rain. I mowed a brown dusty lawn Saturday. It looks a little greener today.

Still going to see Mary Lou every afternoon and then back early evening to tell her she is still loved and to wish her good night. It isn't very good meeting her through a closed window. We don't know sign language so our talks are not as if we know what is going on.

Must admit that my afternoon meetings are not very long as probably half of them find her missing from her room as she travels throughout the halls with her mask causing trouble as best she can. She is a social person and it is good that she gets about. Just waiting for the time I can sit with her and touch her. As of now my next visit day outside will be during the week of July 21. We will both be one year older at that time. So we miss the birthday hugs. (Thank you, governor, for your brilliant decisions.)

Spouse fell out of bed yesterday, but still was traveling around the hallways the last two days.

More next week!

Until next time!
