It's Time to Get Back to a Novel Idea

Writing Prompt: The books I would write....

Any long-time reader of this blog knows that I have attempted to write a book. I have a very, very, very, very rough first draft of a novel completed. But I haven't touched it for a long time.

I wrote this draft during NaNoWriMo (google it!) a few years ago. That's 50,000 words written in one month.

I'm not sure that I even like my novel idea anymore. ("Novel" can mean two things in that last sentence!) So I've been uninspired to work on the next draft.

Oh, the books I would write if I could come up with an idea that inspired me for more than a month!
