Derf Here! Another day that is like Summer. The window is open and the temperature is in the 70s.

Well, Donald J. Trump will be back in the White House for another four years. Let's see him work his magic. I stayed up until nearly 2:00AM until Trump had enough Electoral College votes to nail down his trip to the White House. He needed 270 and had 277 when I shut the TV off.

Now I can relax and enjoy having someone other than the Clintons, Obamas, Pelosi, and all their cronies running the country. You are all fired!

We are with you President Trump. We wish you well as you act for us. America first!

Fall Back Tonight!

Twice a year we need to change our clocks. "Fall back, Spring ahead" as the saying goes.

Legislators are always talking about whether we should stick to just one time. There are pros and cons to both. I know that one argument against Daylight Savings Time is that school children would be waiting for the morning bus in the dark. Hence the need to "fall back" to Standard Time.

I personally would be okay with Daylight Savings Time year round. It would help with S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder) in the winter, and we would still have extra light on beautiful summer nights. Now to figure out the morning bus situation.... Hmmmm....
